Dr. James A Miller is Portland’s Dental Implant Specialist and is credentialed Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is also an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a general dentist who is expertly trained in dental implant treatment. He has been a faculty member of the Oregon AAID Implant Continuum and has been a Director of an AAID dental implant residency program. Dr. Miller has provided extensive implant training to Oregon’s general dentists, periodontists, prosthodontists, endodontists and oral surgeons.
The AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry), The ABOI/ID (American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry) and the ABDS (American Board of Dental Specialties) consider dental implant treatment a dental specialty because the degree of education, training, surgical skills, and restorative skills necessary to comprehensively treatment.
